The LCA Food international conference was born in the 1990s. Its main aim is to assess the sustainability of agrifood systems and guide them to improving their environmental performance. Over the 28 years of its history, the LCA Food conference has become the world’s leading forum on the topic, which also includes the social and economic pillars of sustainability. It reunites hundreds of attendees coming from academia, consultancy, agrifood companies, NGOs, and authoritative public bodies. The conference takes place every two years, and the thirteen editions up to now have been held in countries of Europe, America, and Asia.
