SETAC Europe LCA SC is seeking new members

The SETAC Europe Life Cycle Assessment Steering Committee (LCA SC) is seeking new members to actively participate in the organisation and coordination of SETAC's LCA activities in Europe and on global level.

Activities include:

guidance document review; iteractions at a European scale in LCA activities, including in relation with UNEP, ISO and other organisations; preparation of all meetings. LCA SC meets twice a year, back to back with conferences, and participation in the meeting is mandatory. Further information on the work of the SETAC LCA SC can be obtained from the SC chair and at the SC group page.

All SETAC members can apply.

As SETAC governance and membership are international and multi-sector, representing government, industry and academia, in order to assure this balance members representative of government and from Central and Eastern European countries are strongly encouraged to participate. For the following three years term 4 seats are vacant for members with industry, academia or government background and one seat for a student-representative.

The results of the elections will be communicated by March 2016 and the new members will be invited to attend the LCA Steering Committee at the SETAC Europe 26th Annual Meeting in Nantes, from 22-26 May 2016.
