Call for paper "Advancing Life Cycle Engineering to meet the United Nation's Sustainable Development Goals" - Copenhagen

We are pleased to open for abstract submission for the upcoming international Life Cycle Engineering Conference (LCE) 2018 held under the auspices of the International Academy  for Production Engineering (CIPP) for which you have graciously accepted to serve on the scientific committee.
As you know the conference will be held in Copenhagen 30 April – 2 May, 2018, organized by Technical University of Denmark.

As you may recall, the overarching conference theme is “Advancing Life Cycle Engineering to meet the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals.”

The sessions and special interactive events will focus on
•         Sustainable Manufacturing – efficiency and effectiveness
•         Circular Economy
•         Life Cycle Management (LCM)
•         Sustainable consumption and production
•         Life Cycle Engineering education and training
•         Analysis methodologies & applications (e.g. LCA, LCC)
•         Synthesis methodologies & applications (e.g. Design for Sustainability)
•         Absolute sustainability assessment

We invite you to disseminate the call for abstracts within your network. Abstracts have to keep within 150 words and  abstract submission deadline is 1 July  2017.

We also encourage you to consider submitting abstracts for the conference.

Authors of accepted abstracts will be notified before 15 July and invited to submit full papers by 2 October (3-6 pages). Accepted papers will be published in the Elsevier open access journal Procedia CIRP.
