Recommendations on methods for Life Cycle Impact Assessment (LCIA)

Under the section "Ilcd handbook", you have to press "read more" *and under the seventh bullet point starting with "(NEW February2012!)", you will find relevant information and the downloadable files.
Please first read the "technical note" that describes use instructions and known limitations for the provided characterisation factors.
After downloading the zip file by clicking at the underlined words with a hyperlink "MS excelR files" "ILCD formatted",  it is necessary to extract the files from the zip, keeping the folder in the structure as downloaded (it is possible to change the root name folder but not the root's folders, either name and structure definition).
To see the methods, enter the folder "root folder name"\ILCD\lciamethods; each xml file is the dataset for an impact category.
