Vacancy announcement being released soon

At Utrecht University (Department of Science, Technology and Society, STS) we have two new positions on the following topics (see below and attached):

a) new nanostructured bio-based polymers which can be applied for a variety of purposes, e.g. for product separation, technical fibres, improved packaging films and improved paper making.

b) novel catalytic processes leading to bio-based chemicals; some of these are chemically identical with current bulk chemicals produced from fossil fuels, while others are novel compounds which can substitute current chemicals in specific applications

Both are linked to hardcore chemistry projects and it will be our task to conduct the environmental (and maybe also an economic) assessment. The first topic is related to a EU project which runs for 3 years, the second is a Ph.D. position for 4 years.
