These researchers develop computer models to simulate e.g. land use patterns and air quality and their associated economic and health effects. Environmental modelling is focussed on urbanized areas and is used to support policy makers in regional, national and international governments and industry.

Candidates have a master degree in (applied) sciences. A PhD and experience with environmental modelling are advantages. Language requirements are English and (willingness to learn) Dutch.
