Call for Papers: 3rd BOKU Waste Conference

The Institute of Waste Management at the BOKU-University of Natural
Resources and Applied Life Sciences, Vienna organises the 3rd BOKU Waste Conference "Prosperity Waste and Waste Resources"

Time and venue:

• April 15-17, 2009
• Vienna, BOKU-University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences

Authors are invited to submit papers with thematic reference to one of the 4 sessions:

• Day 1 - WEEE - drain or gain? High-tech treatment versus resource losses of valuable materials
• Day 2 - Food and Food Wastes
• Day 3 - Utilization and testing of MSWI bottom ash

Authors of accepted papers will have the chance to present their papers as well as posters in the following ways:

• Oral platform presentations (15 min) with open floor discussion (5 min)
• Publication of the papers (up to 10 A4 pages) in printed proceedings
• Permanent online presentation of Powerpoint presentations on the conference website

The abstract must clearly describe the contents of the presentation and the paper which are intended to be presented at the conference. The submitted abstracts will be evaluated by members of the scientific boards of the relevant session.

The submission of abstracts is possible till October 31, 2008
Authors of submitted abstracts will be notified till December 12, 2008.
