PhD course-EASEWASTE 2008

Following the success of the course undertaken in 2007, 3R has decided to provide another PhD course in 2008.

Waste Life Cycle Assessment is considered as one of the most effective tools for getting a better understanding of the environmental aspects originating from the waste management sector. It provides a systematic approach to quantify and assess the environmental performance of waste management system at various decision making levels.

Waste LCA includes the environmental modelling of activities and services, such as municipal solid  waste collection, recycling, biological and thermal treatment and diposal.

This course introduces and applies the waste LCA model EASEWASTE developed at the Technical University of Denmark in collaboration between highly acknowledged waste management and LCA experts.
