9th International Conference on Ecomaterials will be held from 23rd (Mon) - 26th (Thu) November, 2009 in Kyoto under the theme of "Break-down and Re-building of Ecomaterials for Sustainable Society."

Call for Paper

This Conference consists of oral lecture by invited lecturers and poster presentation by candidates. Poster presentation is designed to be the main event of this Conference. ICEM9 invites all interested individuals to submit abstracts for poster presentation. Abstract submission will be possible from 1st May, 2009 online.

Deadline of submission: 1st June, 2009.

Important Dates

  • Deadline of application for presentation: 1st June, 2009
  • Notification of acceptance: in the beginning of July, 2009
  • Deadline of Early registration: 30th August, 2009
  • Deadline of Extended abstract: 20th September, 2009
  • Final Announcement & Program: 30th September, 2009
  • Paper submission: on or by 1st November, 2009(in Materials Transactions)

Online registration starts in the beginning of July, 2009.

Payment can be made only by bank transfer. Credit card payment can be applied only on site.

Registration fee

Member (early) 50,000 JPY

Member (on site) 60,000 JPY

Non-member (early) 60,000 JPY

Non-member (on site) 70,000 JPY

Student (early) 25,000 JPY

Student (on site) 35,000 JPY

Payment as early registration fee can be applied by 30th August, 2009.

The registration fee includes administrative costs, abstract booklet and banquet fee.
