Conference: Environmental Effects of Nanoparticles and Nanomaterials

Engineered nanoparticles and nanomaterials offer many potential socio-economic, health and environmental benefits as a result of novel properties and behaviour that materials can exhibit when manufactured at the nanoscale. While the production of nanomaterials is undergoing exponential growth, their biological effects and environmental fate and behaviour are relatively unknown. This meeting is the third international meeting on this topic following the success of the 2^nd meeting held in London last year. The venue for 2008 will be the University of Birmingham.
